India Justice Report 2022

  • Karnataka has topped the India Justice Report 2022.
  • Tamil Nadu is at the second position while Telangana is at the third position.
  • Uttar Pradesh ranks 18th among states with a population of more than 1 crore.
  • Gujarat is at the fourth position and Andhra Pradesh is at the fifth position.
  • The India Justice Report 2022 is based on four pillars: Police, Judiciary, Prisons and Legal Aid.
  • Sikkim topped among small states with less than one crore population. Arunachal Pradesh is at the second position while Tripura is at the third position.
  • The India Justice Report (IJR) was launched by the Tata Trusts in 2019, and is the third edition of the report.
