ICC Player of the Month for May 2023

• Harry Tector has been selected as the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for May, marking Ireland’s first-ever recipient of the award. 

• He emerged victorious in a tough competition against the renowned Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam and Bangladesh’s promising young batter Najmul Hossain Shanto. 

• On the other hand, the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for May 2023 has been awarded to Thipatcha Putthawong (Thailand), a talented 19-year-old player.

•  She follows in the footsteps of her compatriot Naruemol Chaiwai, who won the award last month.
