Durand Cup

• The 132nd edition of Durand Cup begins on August 05, 2023 at Kokrajhar, Assam.

• The tournament is being organized by the Armed Forces and supported by the Government of Assam.

• The main attractions of the opening ceremony included flypast by Sukhoi-30 MKI aircraft and Mi-17 helicopters, martial demonstrations, Gatka and Bhangra dance.

• The opening match of the tournament was played between Bodoland FC and Rajasthan United FC.

• A total of 24 teams including two foreign teams from Nepal and Bangladesh are participating in the tournament.

• The matches will be played in Kolkata, Guwahati and Kokrajhar.
