First woman field director of Kaziranga National Park

• Dr. Sonali Ghosh will become the first woman field director of Kaziranga National Park.

• Indian Forest Service officer Dr. Sonali Ghosh will take charge of Kaziranga National Park from September 1.

• She will be the first woman field director of Kaziranga National Park.

• She will replace Jatindra Sarma, who retires on August 31.

• The Assam government has already issued an order to post Ghosh as forest chief.
