First woman Director General of CRPF

• Neena Singh became the first woman Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

• She is a 1989 batch IPS officer from Rajasthan cadre and was serving as Special DG in CISF.

• Neena Singh is also the first woman to head the CISF and served as joint director of the CBI in 2013 and 2018.

• Anish Dayal Singh has been appointed Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

• Rahul Rasgotra has been appointed Director General of Indo-Tibetan Police Force (ITBP).
