- Sinner is the second player to lift the trophy after trailing by two sets in the Australian Open final.
- The other was Rafael Nadal, who defeated Medvedev by two sets in 2022.
- Aryna Sabalenka defeated China's Qianwen Zheng in the Australian Open women's singles final.
