• After rejoining the NDA, Nitish Kumar took oath as the ninth consecutive Chief Minister of Bihar.

• Eight more ministers also took oath. The swearing-in ceremony of the new government was held at Raj Bhavan, Patna, Bihar.

• Vijay Kumar Sinha and Samrat Chaudhary were appointed as the two Deputy Chief Ministers in the new government of Bihar.

• Earlier, Nitish Kumar had formed the Bihar government in 2022 in alliance with the Left and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
