- He is an expert in missiles and artillery. He was a member of the Indian Naval Fleet on the ships Prahar and Ranjit.
- Additionally, he also commanded INS Khukri and INS Vidyut.
- He became the Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet on November 29, 2022.
