• According to the UN Secretary-General's annual report on children and armed conflict, more than 8,630 children were killed or maimed in 2022 alone.

• This report shows that in 2022 alone, 7,622 children were recruited or used, 3,985 children were abducted and 1,166 children were victims of sexual violence.
