New Secretary of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India

• Atul Kumar Chaudhary has replaced V Raghunandan as the Secretary of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

• Atul Kumar Chaudhary was currently working as Deputy Director General (DDG) in the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

• The post was vacant after V Raghunandan retired on May 31.

• He has worked in various positions in Personnel, Human Resources, Administration, Licensing, Vigilance branch of BSNL and Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
