Exercise Pitch Black

• Indian Air Force's Su-30 MKIs are set to participate in the biennial multinational aerial combat exercise Pitch Black in Australia.

• The 'Pitch Black 2024' exercise will be held from July 12 to August 2.

• "Exercise Pitch Black" is the most important flying activity of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) to strengthen international partnerships and enhance cooperation.

• It was first held in June 1981 at RAAF Base Williamtown in New South Wales.
