New head coach of Indian men's cricket team

  • Gautam Gambhir has been appointed as the new head coach of the Indian men's cricket team.
  • Former Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir has signed a three-year contract. He has replaced Rahul Dravid.
  • The three-member Cricket Advisory Committee interviewed Gambhir along with W.V. Raman.
  • The committee was headed by Ashok Malhotra.
  • Gambhir will officially begin his tenure this month. He will serve till December 31, 2027.
