DRDO successfully test fired Long Range Glide Bomb

• DRDO conducted the first successful test of Long Range Glide Bomb (LRGB), Gaurav.

• The first successful test was conducted from Sukhoi-30 Mk-I of IAF.

• The test was conducted off the coast of Odisha. Gaurav is an air launched glide bomb.

• It is a 1000 kg class glide bomb. It is capable of reaching and hitting targets at long ranges.

• It has been indigenously designed and developed by Research Centre Imarat, Hyderabad.
