India's first airport with net zero carbon emissions

• Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) is the first airport in India to be awarded net zero carbon emission status.

• IGIA has achieved this status under the accreditation programme of Airports Council International.

• Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in Delhi is operated by GMR Group-led DIAL.

• The initial target of the airport was to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030.
