ICC Equivalent Awards

• On September 17, the International Cricket Council announced equal prize money for men and women in World Cups, starting with the Women's T20 World Cup in the UAE next month.

• The winning team of the Women's T20 World Cup will be awarded $2.34 million, 134% more than the $1 million Australia women will be awarded if they win the title in South Africa in 2023, the ICC said in a statement.

• India, who won the men's T20 World Cup earlier this year, received a cash prize of $2.45 million.
