Nepal's new army chief

• Ashok Raj Sigdel has been appointed as the new Army Chief of Nepal.

• He has become the 45th Army Chief of Nepal.

• The newly appointed Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Ashok Raj Sigdel was sworn in by President Ranachandra Paudel.

• The recently appointed COAS took the oath of office and secrecy as the 45th COAS of the Nepali Army before the President.

• For this, a special program was organized at the President's Office Sheetal Niwas.
