new vice chief of air force

• Air Marshal SP Dharka will be the new Vice Chief of the Air Force.

• He will replace Air Marshal AP Singh, who is set to become the Air Force Chief.

• He has over 3,600 flying hours of experience. He will bring a wide range of experience to the post.

• He joined the Air Force in June 1985 and has served as a qualified flying instructor, fighter strike leader, instrument rating instructor and examiner, and Air Force examiner.
