The airline Shankh Air got approval from the Civil Aviation Ministry

• The Ministry of Civil Aviation has given approval to India's newest airline Shankh Air.

• Before the airline can start operations, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will still have to give its approval.

• Shankh Air will soon be the first scheduled airline in Uttar Pradesh.

• Shankh Air will operate out of hubs located in Noida and Lucknow.

• The duration of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for operations is three years.
