- PM E-Drive Scheme has been launched by Union Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy.
- This initiative will accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and promote domestic innovation.
- This scheme has been launched with a financial outlay of Rs.10,900 crore for two years.
- Rs. 3680 crore has been allocated for e-two-wheelers, e-three-wheelers, e-ambulances, e-trucks and emerging EVs.
