- India will begin a tri-services military exercise in the eastern sector from November 8.
- The 10-day long exercise 'Purvi Prahar' will involve assets of the Army, Navy and Air Force.
- The Air Force bases at Kolkata, Hashimara, Panagarh, Kalaikunda will be active in the exercise.
- Indian Navy's Marcos Commandos will also actively participate in the exercise.
- The exercise will showcase synergy between the three services and their combat readiness.
