- On November 9, current president Tayyib Ikram was re-elected for another term as President of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) at the 49th FIH Statutory Congress in Muscat, Oman.
- Pakistan-born Ikram took over for a two-year term in 2022 after Narinder Batra resigned midway through his term.
- The current term will be his first full four-year term.
