- To address the growing threats to space based assets and services, the first three-day space exercise 'Space Abhyas - 2024' is being conducted by the Defence Space Agency of Integrated Defence Staff Headquarters from 11 to 13 November 2024.
- Space Abhyas is the first of its kind and will pave the way for achieving national strategic objectives in the space sector and will help integrate India's space capabilities in military operations.
- The aim of this space exercise is to provide a better understanding of space based assets and services and to understand the process dependencies in the space sector among stakeholders.
