QS World University Rankings,2025



  • A total of 22 universities from India have found a place in the Asia region of the World University Rankings released by QS.
  • Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) has secured the top spot under the South Asian category, which includes universities from India and Pakistan.
  • A total of 984 universities from the Asia region have found their place in the list.
  • 6 universities from India have found place in the top 100 universities in Asia.
  • Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) (Ranked 44th) secured the top spot in India.
  • Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) is ranked 48th, and Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) is ranked 56th.
