- RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has won the prestigious "Gold Award" in the State Energy Conservation Awards 2024 competitions.
- The award was given by the State Energy Conservation Mission of Andhra Pradesh for the remarkable initiatives towards energy conservation in the Iron & Steel category.
- RINL General Manager Shri Uttam Brahma and Deputy General Manager Shri VVVS Pulla Reddy received the Gold Award from IAS Shri K. Vijayanand at the closing ceremony of Energy Conservation Week held recently at Vijayawada.
- RINL was conferred this prestigious Gold Award for implementation of energy conservation efforts and efficiency in waste energy during the last three years.
