Harimau Shakti Exercise 2024

• The fourth edition of the India-Malaysia joint military exercise Harimau Shakti began at Bentong Camp in Malaysia.

• The Indian contingent of the Mahar Regiment comprising 78 personnel will take part in the exercise.

• 123 personnel of the Royal Malaysian Regiment will represent the Malaysian contingent.

• The main objective of the exercise is to enhance the joint military capability of both sides to conduct counter-terrorism operations in jungle areas.

• The exercise will be conducted from December 2 to December 15, 2024.
