Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in English in Class X or XII and meet one of the following educational qualifications with at least 60% overall marks:
- MSc/ BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech in:
- Computer Science
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Information Technology
- Software Systems
- Cyber Security
- System Administration & Networking
- Computer Systems & Networking
- Data Analytics
- Artificial Intelligence
- MCA with BCA/BSc (Computer Science/ Information Technology).
Selection Process
The Selection Process for Indian Navy SSC Executive IT Vacancy 2024 includes the following Stages:
- Shortlisting:
- Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
- For BE/B.Tech candidates, marks up to the fifth semester will be considered.
- For postgraduate candidates (MSc/MCA/M.Tech), marks in all semesters will be considered.
- SSB Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/SMS.
- SSB interviews include psychological testing, group testing, and personal interviews.
- Travel allowance (AC 3-tier rail fare) is provided for first-time SSB interviewees.
- Medical Examination:
- Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a medical examination as per naval standards.
- Final Merit List:
- Based on SSB performance, subject to medical fitness and availability of vacancies.
