- The board of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Bank has approved his appointment as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for three years from December 30, 2024.
- Amitav Chatterjee is currently the Deputy Managing Director of SBI. He has also served as MD and CEO of SBICaps.
- J&K Bank is a private sector scheduled commercial bank. It is headquartered in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
