International Customs Day

  • International Customs Day is celebrated every year on 26 January to honour the contributions of customs personnel and agencies.
  • In 1953, this date was declared as International Customs Day by the Customs Cooperation Council (CCC).
  • In 1994, the World Customs Organisation replaced the Customs Cooperation Council (CCC).
  • Currently, it has 182 member countries across the world.
