National Sports Awards 2024 announced

• The National Sports Awards 2024 were announced by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports on January 2, 2025.

• The awardees will be presented by the President of India at a special ceremony to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 17, 2025.

• The President will present the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award to world chess champion D Gukesh, Paris Olympics double medallist Manu Bhaker, Indian hockey team captain Harmanpreet Singh and Paris Paralympics gold medallist Praveen Kumar.

• The Arjuna Award will be given to 32 sportspersons.
