National Youth Day 2025

• National Youth Day, also known as Rashtriya Yuva Diwas, is celebrated every year on 12 January.

• The birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, India's greatest philosopher and spiritual leader, is celebrated as National Youth Day every year since 1985.

• In 1984, the government announced to celebrate 12 January as National Youth Day.

• Swami Vivekananda founded the Ramakrishna Mission in 1897.
