- The first edition of the World Pickleball League (WPBL) kicked off at CCI in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
- Six teams including Mumbai Pickle Power, Hyderabad Superstars, Pune United, Chennai Superchamps, Delhi Dilwale and Bengaluru Jawans are participating in the tournament.
- The opening match of the league was played between Mumbai Pickle Power and Pune United.
- The final match of the league will be played on February 2. It is a 10-day event.
