Multilateral Naval Exercise ‘Komodo’

• Indian Naval Ship INS Shardul and long range maritime surveillance P-8I aircraft have arrived to participate in the International Fleet Review (IFR) 2025 being held in Bali, Indonesia from 15 February to 22 February 2025.

• After IFR, both these Indian Naval platforms will participate in the multilateral naval exercise 'Komodo', aimed at enhancing maritime interaction and regional security cooperation.

• The theme of the exercise is "Maritime Partnership for Peace and Stability".

• 'Komodo' is a non-combat military exercise, initiated in 2014, and is conducted to promote maritime cooperation among friendly countries.
