New Controller General of Defence Accounts

• Dr. Mayank Sharma assumed charge as Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) on 1 March 2025.

• He is a 1989 batch officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) and has rich experience of over three decades in government service.

• Earlier, he has held important positions in the Defence Accounts Department, Cabinet Secretariat, and various bodies of the United Nations.
