PM Modi honoured with Mauritius' highest civilian honour

  • PM Modi has become the first Indian to be awarded Mauritius' highest civilian honour.
  • He was awarded Mauritius' highest civilian honour, the Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean.
  • This honour was announced by Mauritius Prime Minister Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam during a programme for Indian expatriates in Port Louis.
  • With this award, the total number of international honours of Prime Minister Modi has increased to 21.
