- Japan followed India with 3 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals.
- Over 21 countries, including Mongolia, Oman, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Kazakhstan and Bhutan, participated in the second edition of the championship.
- The competitions were held in four age categories - 10-18, 18-28, 28 to 35 and 35 to 45 years.
