Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 30 years as of the last application date.
• Age relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PwBD: Up to 15 years, depending on category

Educational Qualification

• Engineering Disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, IT): Full-time Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering stream.
• HR: Graduate with two years MBA/PG Diploma in HR/Personnel.
• Environment: Degree in Environmental Engineering or PG in Environmental Science/Engineering.
• Geology: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology/Geophysics or Engineering Geology.
• Finance: CA/ICWA-CMA or two-year MBA with Finance.
• Law: Graduate degree in Law (3-year LLB or 5-year integrated).

Minimum Marks Required:

• UR/OBC/EWS: 55%
• SC/ST/PwBD: 50%
• For CA/ICWA: A Simple pass is enough

Final-year students can also apply if they submit the final mark sheet by 31st July 2025.

Selection Process for SJVN Executive Trainee Recruitment 2025

The selection process will have three stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) – 75% weightage
2. Group Discussion – 10% weightage
3. Personal Interview – 15% weightage

CBT Pattern:

• Duration: 2 hours
• Total Questions: 150 (120 Technical + 30 General Ability)
• Marking: 1 mark per question, no negative marking

Minimum qualifying marks:

• UR/EWS: 50%
• SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD: 40%

Salary and Training

• Pay Scale: ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000 during training
• After training, Executive Trainees will become Engineers/Officers with a 3% salary increase.
• Benefits include HRA, PF, medical, performance pay, etc.

Service Bond

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹10 lakhs
• SC/ST/PwBD: ₹7.5 lakhs
  (For completing training and serving at least 3 years.)
