‘Voice of Kinnaur’ community radio station

• On April 20, 2025, the Indian Army launched the ‘Voice of Kinnaur’ community radio station in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district.

• The station was set up as part of the Army’s Operation Sadbhavna initiative.

• It aims to deliver local news, offer educational and health content, and promote regional culture.

• The ‘Voice of Kinnaur’ will serve as a platform for important public interest information.

• The radio will provide a voice to youth, women and apple farmers to share concerns and achievements.
