New MD of Sun Pharma

• Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, India's largest pharmaceutical company, has appointed Kirti Ganorkar as its new Managing Director.

• The appointment will be effective from September 1, 2025.

• The change is the result of a planned succession process with founder Dilip Sanghvi assuming the role of Executive Chairman.

• Ganorkar will now be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, while Sanghvi will continue to focus on the company's long-term strategy and specialty portfolio.
