• A tragic plane crash has occurred in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
• On 21 July 2025 (Monday), a training aircraft (F-7 BGI trainer jet) of the Bangladesh Air Force crashed into a two-storey building of 'Milestone School and College' located in Diyabari in the northern area of ​​Dhaka.

Type of aircraft: It was a Chinese-made F-7 BGI training aircraft, which is believed to be an advanced version of the MiG-21.

Cause of accident: According to officials, the plane had a technical fault shortly after taking off.

Number of deaths: The death toll in this accident has risen to 31. These include at least 25 children, many of whom were under 12 years of age and died due to severe burns. The deceased also include the pilot of the plane and a school teacher.

Injured: More than 170 people have been injured in this accident, who are being treated in various hospitals in Dhaka. Some of the injured are said to be in critical condition.

Impact: The plane crashed on the roof of the canteen of Milestone College, causing panic among students and staff present on the campus. The building was used for playgroup classes. The school caught fire after the accident.
