First science center opened in Dholpur, Rajasthan

• Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated the first Science Centre in Dholpur, Rajasthan.

• Dholpur got the first Science Centre among the aspiring districts.

• The aim of this centre is to promote scientific interest and innovation among the local youth.

• It has been developed in collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology, National Institute of Immunology and National Science Centre.

• This project is a part of the national plan to set up Science Museums in aspiring districts.

• Dr Singh emphasized that the aim of this centre is not only to create infrastructure but also to promote scientific temper.
