NLUO Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2025
The eligibility criteria vary for each teaching post and are based on UGC norms. Candidates must ensure they meet the following academic and experience requirements.
1. Associate Professor (Law)
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline
- Master’s degree with 55% marks
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience
- 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals
- Minimum Research Score of 75
2. Assistant Professor (Law, English, Sociology)
Eligibility (A or B):
A.
- Master’s Degree with 55% marks in relevant subject
- Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET
- Or Ph.D. as per UGC norms for exemption from NET
B.
- Ph.D. from a top 500 World Ranked University (QS, THE, ARWU)
Note: A 5% relaxation is provided to SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD candidates in qualifying marks.
