43rd Lokmanya Tilak National Awards

  • The award was presented by the Lokmanya Tilak Smarak Trust in recognition of his exceptional contribution to the progress of the nation.
  • The organisers held the award ceremony at the Tilak Smarak Mandir in Pune on August 1, the death anniversary of Lokmanya Tilak.
  • On the occasion, Gadkari emphasised the need to transform Lokmanya Tilak's dream of Swarajya into Surajya through transparent governance.
  • The minister emphasised the role of youth and technocrats in shaping India as a global leader.
