For Head Constable (RO):
- 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) with 60% aggregate OR
- Matriculation with 2-year ITI in Radio/Television, Electronics, COPA, General Electronics, Data Entry Operator.
For Head Constable (RM):
- 12th standard with PCM (60% aggregate) OR
- Matriculation with 2-year ITI in Radio/Television, General Electronics, COPA, Electrician, Fitter, IT & ESM, Communication Equipment Maintenance, Computer Hardware, Network Technician, Mechatronics, Data Entry Operator.
Age Limit
- UR/EWS: 18–25 years
- OBC: 18–28 years

The selection will be conducted in three phases:
Phase 1:
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
