DSSSB Group C Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they meet the required eligibility conditions regarding educational qualifications, age limit, and experience before applying online.

1. Nationality

  • Must be an Indian citizen or subject of Nepal as per government rules.

2. Educational Qualification

Chauffeur (53/25):

  • Matric / Higher Secondary with LMV Driving License.
  • 2 years unblemished driving experience.
  • Preference: Drivers serving in Indian Armed Forces / CAPFs.

Despatch Rider-cum-Process Server (54/25):

  • Matric / Higher Secondary with LMV/ Motorcycle driving license.
  • 2 years unblemished driving experience.

3. Age Limit

  • Minimum: 18 years
  • Maximum: 27 years
  • Candidates must be born between 02.01.1998 and 01.01.2007 (both dates inclusive).
  • Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), Ex-Servicemen (as per rules).

The DSSSB Group C Recruitment 2025 selection process consists of three stages:

Stage 1: Preliminary Exam Pattern

Stage 2: Skill Test

For Chauffeur:

Driving Test on Simulator → 50 Marks

Driving Test on Real Road Conditions → 50 Marks

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

  • UR: 25/50
  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ESM: 22.5/50

For Despatch Rider-cum-Process Server:

  • Scooty Driving Test (Real Traffic) → 75 Marks
  • Bike Driving Test (Real Traffic) → 75 Marks
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • UR: 37.5/75
    • SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ESM: 33.75/75

Stage 3: Interview

  • Total Marks: 15
  • No minimum qualifying marks.
  • Candidates with certificates from recognized driving institutions or experience with automatic vehicles will get preference.

Selected candidates will be placed in Level 5 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
