IRCTC Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should know the eligibility criteria required for the IRCTC Apprentice Recruitment 2025. These criteria are mentioned below and must be checked before registering for the recruitment.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) with a minimum of 50% marks. Additional qualifications required are:

IRCTC Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
IRCTC has set the selection procedure for the engagement of Apprentices. Candidates will be selected based purely on the merit list prepared from the percentage of marks obtained in the matriculation (10th) examination.
- There will be no written test or interview.
- In case of a tie in marks, the candidate older in age will be preferred.
- Final selection is subject to verification of original documents.
IRCTC Apprentice Stipend 2025
The selected candidates will be engaged as Apprentices and will be paid a monthly stipend during the training period as per the Apprenticeship Act. The stipend for various categories is as follows:
- School pass-out (10th): Rs. 6000/- per month
- National or State Certificate (ITI) holder: Rs. 7700/- per month
- Graduate Apprentice or Degree holder: Rs. 9000/- per month
