  • The 24-year-old Namrata was defeated 2-0 by host country athlete Mengyu Chen in the final.
  • Namrata is a four-time national champion and also won a silver medal at the Asian Championships last year.
  • Her journey to the final began with a stunning 2-0 win over Barbara El Rassi of Lebanon in the quarter-finals.
  • She continued her brilliant form with another 2-0 win over Crizan Faith Collado of the Philippines in the semi-finals.
  • This was India's first medal in Wushu at the World Games.
