- This award is given to journalists from print and electronic media for their contribution to agricultural reporting and creating awareness among farmers.
- The award will be presented in Bengaluru on October 11, 2025.
- The function will be held at the Alumni Association (R), University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru, Veterinary College Campus, Hebbal.
- Mr. Prasannakumar has previously served as the President of the Mysore District Journalists Association.
