New Chairman of NSE Governing Board

  • The National Stock Exchange of India has appointed Srinivas Injeti as the chairman of its governing board.
  • His appointment has been approved by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
  • Injeti, a retired IAS officer of 1983 batch, is currently serving as the Public Interest Director at NSE.
  • He has over four decades of experience in financial regulation, governance and public policy.
  • Earlier, he held the post of Secretary of Corporate Affairs and led reforms in bankruptcy, company law and governance.
  • He was also the founding chairman of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA).
