Asian Youth Games 2025

• Indian swimmer Dhinidhi Desinghu set a new national record in the women's 400-meter freestyle at the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain.

• She clocked 4 minutes 21.86 seconds in the final, breaking her previous national record of 4 minutes 24.60 seconds.

• She finished fifth in the event. Aditi Satish Hegde, who also competed in the same race, finished seventh with a timing of 4 minutes 32.00 seconds.

• In the boys' event, Nitishasai Harinath competed in the 50-meter freestyle and finished fifth with a time of 23.72 seconds.

• Dhakshan Sasikumar competed in the 400-meter freestyle and finished seventh with a time of 4 minutes 00.87 seconds.

• Vedant Tandale competed in the 100-meter butterfly. He finished seventh with a finishing time of 56.31 seconds. The Asian Youth Games 2025 are being held in Bahrain from October 22 to 31.
