Establishment of three new Dr. Ambedkar Chairs in Indian universities

• On October 15, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to establish three new Dr. Ambedkar Chairs at leading Indian universities.

• The MoU signing ceremony was organized by the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

• These new Chairs will be established at the University of Mumbai, Jaipur National University, and G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology.

• The event, held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi, was presided over by Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar.
